- The Vic's screen (default) was 22 by 23 characters (506 in total) but was
- flexible. It didn't actually have a bitmap mode (something I duly fell in
- love with when I moved to the C64) but with some trickery and a drop in
- screen size it was possible to emulate it. I think the screen had to go
- down to about 16 by 16 characters or similar so that one font would cover
- the whole screen.
